Y5 are making their Primer LIbro de Espanol for Quinto.
Los alumnos de Y5 estan creando sus Primer Libro de Espanol para quinto. Y5 are creating their first Books of |Spanish for the pupils in your Y5 (quinto). We will send you the books in December, or sooner, as soon as they are ready. Os mandaremos los libros en diciembre, o antes, cuando esten listos.

Empezamos el colegio el 12 de septiembre y hemos estado muy ocupados con las evaluaciones
iniciales.Nos gustaron mucho vuestras fotos.
En 6º curso a la mayoría de los alumnos les gustaría tener un uniforme como el vuestro, con corbata,
pero a los alumnos de 5º curso no les gustaría llevar un uniforme.
Most of the pupils in Y6 would like having a uniform to school, one like yours, with a tie but pupils
in Y5 wouldn't like wearing a uniform.

En Y6 todos los alumnos llevan una corbata y una camisa. In Y6 all of the pupils wear a shirt and tie.
Los alumnos de Reception hasta Y5 no llevan una corbata. Pero en Y6 llevamos una corbata del cole y una camisa.
The children from reception to Y5 do not wear a tie but the Y6 children wear a school tie and a shirt.
Vemos que en Espana los alumnos no llevan uniforme al colegio como aqui en Inglaterra. Os gustaria llevar un uniforme al cole?

Estamos de vuelta al cole! We are back at school. Terminamos el 15 de julio/volvimos el 5 de septiembre.. We broke up on 15th July and returned on 5th September.

¡Hola, amigos de Bolton!
Estamos ya de vacaciones, los niños desde el 23 de junio y los profesores desde el día 30 de junio.Os
voy a hablar de el verano.
¡Este es un verano sevillano!
Cuando nos levantamos a las 9 de la mañana (no vamos al colegio desde finales de junio) regamos las
macetas o el jardín.
Leemos/ estudiamos/ limpiamos la casa/ vamos de compras, etc. A las 12 de la mañana vamos a las
piscinas, públicas o privadas.
Almorzamos en casa, cada ventana debe estar cerrada ya y tenemos muchos toldos.
Nos gusta tomar gazpacho (sopa de tomate muy fría), ensaladas, pescado fruta ( melón, sandía,
melocotones, uvas, mangos, aguacates, cerezas, etc.). Cultivamos muchas frutas tropicales en
Andalucía.
Después de almorzar la gente mayor descansa y los niños y niñas juegan en casa. Las casas
permanecen un poco oscuras y en silencio. Es ¡LA HORA DE LA SIESTA! Muchas tiendas cierran
durante dos horas. Las calles de Sevilla están vacías salvo por los turistas.
Después de la siesta mucha gente ( si no está trabajando) regresa a las piscinas.
En Sevilla, en verano, a veces cenamos fuera pescado frito, tortilla de patatas y vamos a cines de
verano. Nos vamos a la cama tarde porque hace mucho calor por la noche ( últimamente 27ºC)

We read/study/clean the house/go shopping,etc.At 12 am we go to the swimming pools,public or private swimming pools.
We have lunch at home and every window must be closed and we have a lot of awnings.
We like eating gazpacho (very cold tomato soup), salads, fish, fruit (melon, watermelon, peaches,
grapes, mangoes, avocados, cherries, etc.) We grow many tropical fruits in Andalucia.
After lunch old people rest and boys and girls play at home.The houses stay a little dark and quiet.
It's SIESTA TIME! Many shops close for two hours.The streets in Seville are empty of people but
tourists.
After siesta many people (if they are not working) go back to the swimming pools.
In Seville in summer we sometimes have dinner out, fried fish , Spanish omelette and we go to open-
air cinemas. We go to bed very late because it is really hot at night ( lately 27ºC) .

Los alumnos de Sexto visitan el Instituto donde estudiarán el año próximo y se despiden del colegio.
Os deseamos un verano muy feliz.Esto no es un adiós,es un "hasta siempre".¡Buena

Y6 pupils are visiting their Secondary School where they will study next year and saying
goodbye to school.
We wish you a very happy summer. This is not goodbye, it's just until we meet again.
