Desde Sevilla con amistad.

Hola, amigos ingleses. ¿Cómo estáis? Nosotros estamos bien, aquí en Sevilla. We want to send you our letters very very soon. We will send you our pictures.
We are proud because this year we have our acorns successfully germinated. We would like meeting you here and going to collect them with all of you.

The three Kings in Vélez Málaga (a village next to Málaga) comes by plane and in Málaga by boat

(for pupils in St Bede C of E Primary Academy Bolton and Pupils in Castilleja de la Cuesta from Vicente Aleixandre School in Málaga).
In every corner of Spain we celebrate January 5 with parades for the festival of the Three Kings (next day). In Málaga the parade is bigger than this one, but in this one they arrive by plane. In Málaga they come by ship or boat. The first video is in Vélez málaga in 2009.The penultimate is is in Málaga. The last one is in Bollullos del Condado (Huelva)
In Bollullos del Condado (Huelva) they ride camels
The night of 5th January the kids put their shoes on the balconies of their homes because the Three Kings come through their windows carrying a lot of presents for them according to the letter that they have written to their Majesties. They have to be asleep for this.

A taste of Spain.

The children in Y4 enjoyed a 'Spanish Day' eating typical Spanish food. The children tried Spanish omelette, Spanish sausage, Manchego cheese, spicy potatoes, olives, paella and churros (like doughnuts) and chocolate. Well done to the teachers for all of their hard work organizing this exciting experience!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! FELIZ ANO NUEVO!

Happy new year to all of you in Seville!

Here are some photos of our Y5 children who tried to eat 12 grapes with the ring of each bell as we understand the Spanish do at midnight on New Year's Eve.
